I’m Anschi, a passionate Hair Make Up Artist based in Cologne and working worldwide.
My passion for art and all things creative has been with me since I was a kid. It all started with painting, flowed into music, and after a long journey as a dancer, I found my way into the hair and make up world. For more than 12 years now, I've been working as a freelance hair and makeup artist and I still love expressing myself as an artist and always finding new ways to grow and evolve.
My go-to style is natural, healthy glowing skin and modern hair with those subtle, yet refined touches.

Early bird or night owl?
Definitely an early bird! I love the energy of the morning, when everything is still quiet and the hustle and bustle of the day hasn't started yet. That's when I recharge and get most of my energy for the day. But every now and then, I get so caught up in something in the evening that I just can't pull myself away until late at night.
Summer or winter?
I'm probably one of the few people who actually prefer winter. I love snow, the crisp, cold air, fairy lights in the dark, and pretty much everything else that comes with the season. If I could, I'd spend the whole year skiing in the mountains and taking walks through snowy landscapes in the evenings.
Where can we find you on a Saturday afternoon?
If I'm not working, you'll probably find me at a flea market, somewhere in the Belgisches Viertel in Cologne, in the gym, or completely losing track of time while painting :)
What do you do to unwind?
Yoga, painting, listening to music and/or dancing, reading, and cuddling with our dog.
Three things you always have with you?
My phone, hand cream, and music in my ears.
What's your favorite piece of clothing?
That's a tough one! My favorite outfit changes all the time, depending on my mood, and most of my clothes are second hand. I absolutely love 70s and 80s fashion :) But there's one thing all my favorite pieces have in common: they make me look good without making me feel restricted :)

What are the three most important qualities in a person?
Tolerance, thoughtfulness, and empathy.
What experience has changed your life the most?
Diving into psychology, reconnecting with my art, and deciding to live and work vegan. Oh, and honestly, tearing my ACL twice has definitely changed my life, too ;)
